Uhhh.
So the Worlds First completion of the Root of Nightmares raid only took 2.5 hours. Keep in mind you have to figure out everything yourself with no hints or help for all 4-5 encounters(boss battles).
And it was some random group I dont know.
For reference, Deep Stone Crypt took about 4-5 hours. Don’t know about the others.
Jeez. The power creep is real. Even with contest mode on.(it just makes it a bit harder) -
Well.
The Root of Nightmares raid is live.
Won’t be able to play it anytime soon tho.
Luckily I’m not missing anything.
I wonder who’ll get the Worlds First prize!

Also, the ending was entirely our fault. We coulda shot down ghost when we had the chance.
I haven’t played it yet. Because I also haven’t bought it.
Strand seems busted in pve. Likely the same for pvp. Tho the suspend time is pretty short.

This game has a campaign? And an ending that you can alter?
I thought it was just an ability shooter with a battle pass and that’s it, with no campaign or anything

Well you cant alter the ending, but yah it has a pretty lore rich campaign, even with the old ones.
There are Expansions, and seasons. Expansions happen every year and a half or so with the next and final one(for the Light and Darkness Saga) being The Final Shape.
The previous one was The Witch Queen. People said wq had a very good story.
Seasons happen between the expansions. They’re basically mini expansions that cover what happens between the main story. There are usually 4-5.
Each one always comes with a large chunk of new content.
But because of their old engine that the game runs on, they aren’t able to keep most of the seasonal contents for each expansion.

I’ve completed all my objectives before d2 shut down!
I got my deepsight austringer, figured out yesterday that you could get the ikelos weapons for free, got a few of those,
And even snuck in a final Gm nightfall!
It’s Lightfall time!-
my favorite part of lightfall was when lightfall said “its lightfallin’ time!” and lightfell all over the place

I have 2 days to get my last deepsight weapon for the crafted Austringer.
I just have to pray to rnjesus.
