Big fan of Saint Seiya
I would say to throw an eye out for it but the english dub isn’t so great from what I’ve heard -
My favorite movies and shows are Evangelion and Pokemon…and Gundam and Saint Seiya. I watched Evangelion when I was very young (as tall as an adult’s knees). My brother knows Gundam and Saint Seiya very well, so that’s why I started liking Gundam and Saint Seiya.

The Last of Us: Part 2
I keep returning to it for the combat, the story and for the difficulty, never tried permadeath but I have tried beating it on the hardest difficulty. I almost did, but the story is so long that i’ve never finished.

Nice!
I pirated it too via something called ARMGDDN Browser and it was great. Eventually when I didn’t know I had to actually empty my recycle bin and clear out old files so when I was running out of disc space I had to delete it (was stuck on the last fight of act 2 anyway)
Bought it recently on steam with my gift card since it was more convenient to get future updates that way and I ended up beating that boss on my third try
Now on Act 3

What Is Your Favorite Song From Any Band/Rapper? (If you don’t like music then don’t answer the question)-
I don’t listen to rap music
But if we talking about bands,
Hmmmm, Aces in exile by sabaton
-
I didn’t used to listen to much rap and whatnot but my YT mix kept giving me Kanye West and MF Doom so I just rolled with it.
There’s some really good ones for both rappers.
I think my favourite would have to be Through the Wire.

No

You should ask more widespread questions than anything too particular / specific.
The answer to the question simply comes in the form of looking at who’s in the realm / group so there’s not much point asking either.

K, will make sure I keep that in mind

❔Question of the day ❔
To any gym-goers or anyone who takes to exercising, what would one of your exercise routines / plans be? What do you keep in mind for said routine?
📃 💪 🏋️♂️
-
Going to answer my own question..
I usually just see what machine is available and go from there, a leg day or something for me would look like:
Warm-up, Bike for 5 minutes, stretch 🚲
Warm-up set on leg press
Heavy sets on leg press following quickly into lighter sets to failure as much as possible, small bursts of rest followed by repeated reps 🔥 🦵
Leg extension, relatively light, full extension, squeeze at the top, complete for many reps and sets, following suit to last last set on leg press. 🔥 🦵
Cool-down on bike ❄️
Done. ✅
-
Replying to:
Nothing for calves, hamstrings or glutes on this one so I need to work on that for sure but they get built anyway through other activities day-to-day.
-
-
I hate gyms so I have a little set-up in my basement, it’s not much but it has everything you need.
-Cardio for 20-30 minutes
-10 sets of curls on each arm every 5 minutes
-Basic chest workouts for 40 minutes
-I go to the lake every day or so and do a 5k-10k
I’m not good at explaining things, but this is the normal for what I do every day plus more workouts if it’s a leg, arm day etc.
-
Replying to:
An all-in-one, full body thing? That’s good, can’t go wrong there really
If you are aiming to get stronger though your goals for weight training shouldn’t be oriented to the same routine and going by minutes / time rather than sets and reps is an inconsistent measure in consideration to rep speed, fatigue etc.
How much weight are you curling at the moment with those 10 sets if you don’t mind me asking?
-
Replying to:
Only like 20 pounds
I’m not that strong
-
Replying to:
Got to start somewhere, I was mainly asking because of you doing 10 sets for 5 minutes.
I know I’ve rambled on plenty by now but might I advise something instead like:
1. Heavy set to failure, each time you can no longer get the weight up because of muscle fatigue, wait a little and just try and squeeze out another 2 or 3.
2. Rest up a little, 2 minutes maximum
3. Lighter set aiming for 50 to 100 reps, rest between every 10 reps or so is allowed but so long as you keep that pump you’ll be fine. Try and go for straight curls this time as you will target the short head of the bicep which is generally weaker anyway.
From here you can either rest up some more and repeat or more functionally, target another muscle group like triceps or shoulders, then cycle back through 2 – 3 times. It should be good for increasing strength, adding size to the biceps too.
For reference I’d do my heavy set of 20kg for 8 – 12 reps to failure and of course implementing the technique where you really squeeze for those last few reps, rest and then do like 4 – 6 kg straight curls for 50 – 100 reps with breaks every 10 reps or so lasting less than 10 seconds. There’s a lot of small details that go into lifting but once you know plenty it’ll feel great.
-
Replying to:
Thank you for the advice I will definitely use these ideas next time
And don’t worry, I do take small 2-3 minutes breaks
-
Replying to:
You’re welcome, if you ever need any other pointers or don’t know how to train a certain part let me know, I’m no certified personal trainer but I’ve been training for 3+ years now so I’d happily provide insight should you need it.
Good luck and well done.

-
-

-
-
I just string together basic exercises and made this routine, don’t necessarily know how effective it is
10 minutes on an exercise bike at a moderate pace and 1 minute jumping jacks after to warm myself up
30 push ups
30 situps
3 minutes of leg lifts
2 minutes of scissor kicks
Sometimes grab some weights (whatever size, I just grab at random), and do various exercises (curling it up and down, lifting them up and gown with my arms straight in front of me, etc.)
10 more minutes on the exercise bike but more intense
After that I used to practice fencing but I stopped fencing recently and haven’t really practiced lately (even before I didn’t really do it that much, lmao)
Then later in the day (a couple hours later), I do 15 push ups, 15 situps, and 2 minutes leg raises, then I’m done for the day. I didn’t exercise much before but recently I decided to step it up so I’m not weak
-
Replying to:
I don’t go the gym, just do this in my basement
-
Replying to:
It’s not a bad routine
What you’ve got there should train:
1. Lower abs ( leg raises and scissor kicks )
2. Middle and upper abs ( sit-ups )
3. Push-ups ( depending on where your hands are positioned, chest )
4. Lifting weights with arms straight in front of you ( probably a type of lateral raise so shoulders )All in all, pretty good, a strong core and good cardiovascular health is underrated and not many people who go gym train for it.

❔ Question of the day ❔
What is a game you think is relatively obscure but is an absolute classic?
-
Oxenfree.
If you don’t know what it is, it’s the game made by Night School Studio, run by Netflix, and was released sometime around 2016. It’s a fucking masterpiece. It’s so good it gave me an existential crisis with its story. It’s heavily decision based, and I keep returning to it with my questions partially answered every time. I have lied awake in bed, unable to think, and the my brain will start thinking about Alex and everything that happened on that island.I won’t spoil anything for you. If you decide to play it, play it twice. The whole experience changes on the second playthrough.

A game created by Remedy entertainment and Rockstar Games, an action and drama shooting game, where you control detective Max Payne who seeks revenge after the murder of his wife and daughter
-
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows
Made in 2008, idk if it counts as a classic
This game was the best Spider-Man game in my opinion. The story wasn’t the best, but it has the most creative combat mechanics and the most fun boss battles in any Spider-Man game. It had you being able to defeat enemies in mid air, on walls, and on the ground, (or a combination of all 3), with 5 -6 fully fleshed skill trees for each suit. I say each suit because you could switch between both the classic suit and symbiote suit at any time, even mid combo. The classic suit made you feel like an anime character, with a charged web shot you throw like a hadouken, webbing enemies so fast you were a blur, and putting your arms out and spinning so fast you become a tornado. The symbiote suit on the other hand, made you feel like a god of destruction, you could throw cars (which allowed you to kill civilians, pretty sure the only Spider-Man game where you could do that, as Spider-Man, at least, in Ultimate Spider-Man as venom you would eat people), make axes out of your hand and swinging them around with symbiotic tendrils, and making your hands a collection of spikes, the game in the symbiote suit was a lot like prototype.
It also had the best swinging in any game, physics are the best in any game in terms of swinging, and you could go insanely fast with skill (you could also walk run while swinging, hit the jump button right before you hit the ground to gain momentum, and swing off poles. Fully leveled up you could go so fast you can go all the way across the map in 10 – 20 seconds.)
Great game in my opinion, though pretty obscure compared to other Spider-Man games.
There was also a mobile Spider-Man game called “Spider-Man: Total Mayhem”, which was the best mobile Spider-Man game, can’t play it anymore even with piracy without a super old device (only works on 32 bit devices) or emulation.
-
Replying to:
You could still play Spider-Man: Web of Shadows even though it isn’t on steam using this guide. It’s safe as I’ve used it multiple times with no issues, many have in fact, and regardless what it says, you can open the file with 7zip, downloaded here: https://www.7-zip.org/. Even though the site looks sketchy it’s safe and used by millions, you could double check though if you want by looking it up
Even if the guide seems complicated it’s really not, just read it before you install it if you want to play the game, guide is pretty straightforward.

Snake Eyes. Was surrounded by G.I.Joe with it being my dads favorite show to watch as a child. He then introduced me to action figures for the first time and I fell in love with them on sight. I had a lot of favorites, but for some reason Snake Eyes stood out to me the most. His suit and story were all cool to me. As well as his skills and knowledge of weapons. I enjoy the character a lot as well as guns. For some reason I’m fascinated with guns and love action. It’s a part of me now. Good question.

But for real, Spectacular Spider-Man was the best Spider-Man show ever made
Seriously it doesn’t have a right being as good as it is
The choreography was great, the animation was someone BETTER then the shows that came after it (by a long shot), great character development and relationships, long term storylines to make things like Eddie becoming Venom more impactful, great villains, and to top it all off great voice acting? It’s criminal it was cancelled so early, especially since we were gonna get introduced to Carnage

probably taco bell because it’s the most consistent, convenient and reliable, for me at least.
-
Replying to:
While me and the family don’t really eat a whole lot of taco bell, It’s still pretty good
I like that you’re able to have a fuck ton of them in one kinda small bag or box
-
Replying to:
it’s basically the only fast food i have anymore. there are a lot of fast food places near me, but i go with taco bell most times because quality wise it’s the most consistently good. it never blows yr mind, but it’s never really offensive, either. i think mcdonalds at it’s highest is better, but mcdonalds is extremely inconsistent so i don’t go there often. if not either of those i usually go with outback steakhouse, but that’s not really “fast food” in my eyes.

There is no damn way people actually answered seriously without attempting to be funny and fail miserably 🤯
Anyways my favorite is Taco Bell because there’s like, only 3 locations in Thailand and I like their nachos

? Question of the day ¿
What ( or who ) was the main inspiration for one of your characters?
is your OC based off of you..
-
For one of my characters it was For Honor’s Orochi and traditional Onna-Musha/Onna-bugeisha
-
Mine is based off of Toxic911s for the very simple design, and me for the personality
-
caiman was based off of alligators
louise was based off of ellie from tlou2
and willem was based off of me and owls -
Said this a few times before, but Lucky and Emily (her only somewhat) where based heavily off of Sky. Their entire race itself is kinda based off the winged people in that game, beings who rely on Light to survive.
-
First iteration of Max was bullshitted hard. Never cared for him, never out much effort into his design. The additions and reiterations of him took inspiration from me, some of the shows I watch or games I play, and random thoughts that, hey, actually worked. Safe to say he’s at his prime now, design-wise at least. It’s weird, but he’s sort of become someone that I look up to. I guess when I said I took inspiration from myself I unintentionally added traits that I wanted to have, things that I wanted to strive for. So for the foreseeable future Maximus isn’t going anywhere, I suppose.
And then there’s Billy…he and my username are just because—surprise—I love biscuits.

My OC is based off of me and also my personality. Although the whole reason my style is how it is is because of the first time I saw an animation. That creator would be Gildedguy. I saw the style and thought it was cool. I had an idea from that style and led on to create my own. It was rough at first, but it got better overtime.

amber is somewhat of a dead character, but she was based on myself at the time. however i don’t really use her anymore because she looks completely different to how i look now. maybe she’ll be overhauled in the future.

Ah well, like you say anyway you’ll be checking here every now and again, hopefully less enough for it to be somewhat enjoyable.
By the way at some point, and I do mean in the sort of farish future when SNCA ( Stick Nodes Citrus Adventures, I’m changing the name btw it’s garbage ) is out would you like your music to make a cameo or appearance at all?
For example I was thinking that should a radio be on there will be one or more of your songs playing, maybe even a billboard of an album or an actual appearance by your OC. Depending on how it’s done you might have a chance at all three or something else if you had something in mind.

sure, maybe we can negotiate details on discord or something, if you want. maybe i could make some stuff specifically for the series.

Main inspiration for my oc was doomguy at first, then the concepts started to branch out and become its own thing. Some parts of him are based on myself irl (ex: he’s left handed like me) however.

and on day life gave @tastylemon16 lemons and he made tastylemon

Surprisingly close to how any of ‘Tastylemon16’ came to be.

I gave it my personality but amplified the goofy ahh parts and added a smidge of gremlin. His actual appearance was based off of an espacio from databrawl.

Natalie didnt really had one, but it’s possible this crap might have been the influence.
-
Some of my OC’s have a few traits from myself. I also like to imagine some of them having voices similar to certain actors in certain roles like Orson Welles as Unicron, Ross Wayne Marquand as Ultron or Brian Drummond’s Vegeta to name a few.

Idk
