new album announcement, i mean it this time. after the ep releasing on the second (for reference, that’s next friday) then real work on the next album will begin. no real title (i am notoriously poor with names) but sonically it will definitely resemble my recent works, meaning it will be loud, distorted, and heavy. the mascot for this album cycle is the little ghost dude you see on the cover below, which will be the album cover. my songs never had any deeper meaning, they were always meant to convey an emotion but nothing beyond that. they’re abstract paintings with sound representing color, if you will. this album is even more abstract than anything that came before, and likely will come after. it will almost definitely stand out as an oddball release in my already eclectic and varied catalog of experiments. the first song i posted today while the second probably won’t. just keep a look out if this catches yr ire, i guess. why am i still typing? nobody reads this far. anyways, cover art below as per usual.

fun(?) fact: the little ghost dude on the cover was inspired by the cover of phoebe bridgers’ 2017 album “stranger in the alps.” it’s kind of ironic, actually, because these two records are almost completely polar opposites in volume.

as for the part about the speaker wires, that’s the point. or, at least partially the point. it’s meant to sound ugly and distorted. the art point is very true, im putting in less effort because my music stuff is getting less attention, and there isn’t a lot of point in putting effort into something that’s just gonna be ignored.

new album isn’t an album anymore, it’s been cut down to a five-track ep because i feel like this project has reached its natural end. the ep is called “intolerable tunes for intolerable people” and it’ll be out on june 2nd.

the album ive been talking up doesn’t exist in its original form anymore. i was getting bored with it so i decided to scrap the rough mixes ive made (while keeping the notes ive been keeping intact for future reference and possible reuse.) however in its place i began work on a new album currently untitled (i’ll get there later.) in place of the ugliness of its predecessor, this album is less dark in sound overall, but every bit as strange and schizophrenic, just without the hearing damage this time. this time, i actually can promise june as a release month, but no exact day. however it will probably be a friday because albums typically release fridays. as opposed to the original plan to do a three-track preview, this album will have the normal single-based rollout. as of right now i’ve only finished one song, entitled “wish i was special” which will most likely be the lead single. i have two concepts for the cover art, which are posted below. i haven’t decided which i will use yet, but when the decision is made it will be announced.

instead of releasing singles from this album in a normal sense, ive decided on a slightly different rollout to match how different this album is sonically from the rest of my dense catalog. instead of two or three singles im going to release an album sampler ep entitled “before the beginning, but after the end” comprising three cuts from the record. the track listing is as follows:
1. cigarettes and moonlight
2. anthem for boring people
3. nothing, inc.i can’t promise a release date yet, but it will be out in the not all too distant future. also btw, a june 2nd release date is almost impossible at this rate, but the album will probably still come in june.
