There are 2 really important characters that will never show up in the story physically and will only be mentioned:

The god Twins.
The God Twins, Caleb and Soren are the 2 most powerful gods of the Reality Magic world. They are the ones who created magic and bestowed it upon the humans right after their creation, though humans only found out in 1978. Both are of equal strength but almost completely opposite personalities. Caleb is arrogant and reckless, and Soren is humble and wise. While small cults are formed based around them, they are not pleased and even disgusted by human or magic sacrifice. However, if they are pleased they will give small blessings to the people of earth. Other than what’s mentioned here, not much is known about them.
