Too late to edit,
What I’m trying to say is that I agree with you, and that I use tweened frames instead of tweening the entire animation itself which kinda forces me to change my animation style
Replying to:SmileGuyFor some reason whenever I use “do not tween this frame” it
Well yes. That’s how it works.
Lets say we have 3fps + 4 inbetween
When frame one plays, It does itself, then transition onto other frame.
(Frame 1) 1 2 3 4 (Frame 2)
When you enable Do Not Tween Frame it basically plays at the frequency of the inbetween. So kinda when you make all do not tween frame then you basically have that period of inbetween, but you can modify it manually.
(Frame 1) (1) (2) (3) (4) (Frame “2”)
In which case, Frame “2” would be Frame 6. While the ones from 1-4 would be number higher.
When people say tween is bad and don’t consider its actual intended use

Both sides got the smack you can’t prove I’m wrong tho
not even gonna lie, what makes tween look bad is how bad people use it sometimes, there are some exceptions, like EB / some others
but most beginners use it as some dumb crutch and if you think of it as like a shortcut to get good thats dumb asf
tween only makes things look smooth, too much smoothness is horrible
learn to ease than let the app do it goddamn
the app cant replicate human-made frames
i am actually guilty of this
i’ve turned off tweening in my animations and nearly deleted stick nodes as a result
I don’t use tweening, I used tweened frames, just because of the way I animate tweening doesn’t necessarily look good.
It’s a tool. You can even use it at occasional moments.

Before add tweened frame was made back in old days I kept tween on and then spammed “do not tween this frame” unless I needed it lol
For some reason whenever I use “do not tween this frame” it just makes that frame that I made not tweened SUPER fast
