How to successfully rickroll someone

You know when you try to rickroll someone but the ad saves them or they know the url of the video so they don’t click it? I’m here to fix that in 3 steps.

Step 1: Make it convincing

Make sure it would make sense to paste a YouTube url, by commenting on a post asking what your favorite song is for example. A better way is to paste the url in a post asking for help with something. Just say “this video explains it better”.

Step 2: Don’t paste the url of the official video

Believe it or not, I’ve met people who’ve memorized the url of the official music video for Never Gonna Give You Up. But there are a lot of things like lyric videos, which means there is no way someone could memorize them all.

Step 3: Don’t use a long video

You know how I said you should use a lyric video? Ignore that, instead, use a short. Just search “Never Gonna Give You Up Short” and you will find at least 1 or 2 shorts.
