Is it just me or the better people gets at animating,the simpler the stickfigures like sometimes theres only head and mouth which only shows emotion and not any other thing like hairs and clothes

That’s because it’s harder and takes longer to animate multiple things, including any details on a figure.

Certainly not bad, some very unique patterns on his face and body. Perhaps more tonal shading such as darkening his right arm (the back arm) and gradients on the veins? To give it a glowing effect.
