So you’re saying if we are supposedly perfect than why must we deal with these things like lust, temptation etc.

Well i’m no religious genius who knows every intricacy of every religion but what i’d say is it boils down to how you perceive things, first off the bible is scriptures passed down over years and years apparently so it’s inevitably got some mistakes and inaccurate depictions around. Second of all temptation and lust are basic human desires which we want to fulfil, some desires should be fulfilled however.

The choice for what religion you follow and what you believe in is your choice, personally though I don’t follow the bible or any beliefs, I have my own, I believe in a higher power just not in the ‘superpower’ way bibles and everyone else does.

I think that we shouldn’t overcomplicate these things, if free will is a thing than why is there the 10 commandments and if we were made in gods image ‘Imago Dei’ than surely we have the wisdom and knowledge to not need rules.

Religion is no easy topic to discuss and takes time, to put it simply:

Believe in what you want to believe in, try and make it logical and don’t overcomplicate or think too much of things, especially the bible, it has flaws everywhere from what i’ve read.
