I actually think it helps people who can’t make things themselves, there’s likely a skill difference between animating and making things, and this workshop willing to make a complicated weapon for them that they think they cannot make it themselves, is really helpful.
Or maybe, they’re just curious in what you guys can make for them, not only does it feel nice to have something made, it may also make them feel appreciated, to have someone so skillful to work on something for them, would be so cool.
Don’t think of your group as making people lazy, who cares if they’re lazy?
think of your group, a group for people to feel comfortable in asking for a fig without worrying about being judged as lazy, make them feel great about themselves that they have an opportunity to have something made for them as a gift, your group is a gift to be appreciated by those who cannot work. -
Depends on if people who commission the actual stickfigure take notes on how the figure is actually made and try to actually incorporate that into their own figure-making.
Kinda like, give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, teach a man how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. -
Skill issue

Shut up
You’re one of the people he would be referring to here. You begged humble Damien constantly to work on your OC, until tastylemon stepped in and made you your own, and then you still continued to beg people to get stuff done instead of doing it yourself.
Besides, he made you your weapon out of kindness, I don’t think you should be the one to be saying “skill issue” about a group potentially causing laziness, where you’re a prime example of that happening

No, many people use this group to make things they simply don’t have the skills to make themselves, not because of laziness
Besides, lazy people will be lazy, this just happened to be an outlet for potential laziness. But don’t let that discourage you, if you like the group, keep it!
