I need help. I don’t know if I’ll have to wait for an update or what, but recently my sticknodes application on my MacBook Pro had been crashing with an error EXC_BAD_ACCESS, KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS. I asked chat GPT and it said ” error suggests that the application (in this case, Stick Nodes) is trying to access a memory address that doesn’t exist or is restricted. This often points to a bug in the application or a system-level memory mismanagement issue.”
The crash report also told me where it crashed at. “Thread 0 crashed with ARM Thread State (64-bit):” I asked GPT again and it said ” error indicates that the application encountered a crash on a system running an ARM-based processor, such as the Apple M1, M2, or newer silicon chips. This is likely due to a compatibility issue, a bug in the application, or a misconfigured system environment.”
The crash report error also told me where the address crashed “thread 0 says esr: 0x56000080 Address size fault.” do I just have to wait for an update?
SN isn’t built for Macs unfortunately, if it works it works, if it doesn’t it doesnt
I don’t have a proper Macbook to use for testing builds on, so I can’t work on it as well
I’ve heard ppl say only SN Pro has issues, i have no idea why but that could be the case
buy a mac and help ol’ byran out, come on man
