2025-02-08 18:25:40 UTC Family is out of state getting some surgery done so it’s just me and my brother at home. That means I’m solely responsible for putting some food on the table. What should I cook today? It can be anything you guys think of as along as it isn’t some crazy fancy shit like a beef Wellington or something with caviar.
Also peep the tamales and the jambalaya. I don’t think my tamales are the most visually appealing thing I’ve ever made but they tasted really good. Pico and sour cream add so much to it. Btw these were tamales made with carnitas (HARAM❗️HARAM❗️) and they were pretty greasy. I think I made them wrong, but that was my first time making carnitas.
The jambalaya was great but it was probably pretty far from an authentic one. If you aren’t living in Louisiana you’re already making it wrong.

Goddammit, i am fasting and I see this, now my mouth can’t stop watering from thinking about a chicken cooked on a coal outside put on white rice and some red hot sauce with cooked onions.
Dude I’m not even fasting and that sounds delicious. Maybe throw some bell peppers into that and you’ve got yourself a healthy fajita bowl.
Also concerning your comment about the haram thing, I mainly threw in the warning for shits and giggles but if it is an appreciated thing then I will continue to add it (although it’ll be a more proper warning) when I post any pork dishes.

I think this is what the site is for, to not only show one aspect and its animation, but the very people behind it, we realize that everyone is talented, such example is the guy who made 2D asset for terraria (pretty sure its you), the food being posted, the logs daily.

Tho I have to thank you for clarifying some of the ingredients used is haram, I am a Muslim (shocking) and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.
