While it is nowhere near as big as the creature it was based upon, it could very easily kill the beast and absorb the radiation emitted by the creature. That is, if the creature doesn’t get up close and personal because the machine would most likely be overpowered on the physical side of things.

While this might be true, the GDZLA-344 still could very easily slice it in half, burn a hole clean through it, or just disintegrate it entirely. The ionizing beam this machine is equipped with is our strongest weapon. What it does is in the name of the weapon: it ionizes, which means it rapidly heats up the surrounding molecules until they become plasma. In order to prevent damage to itself, it has a system of microbots that can repair it in a matter of seconds.

I would say that Godzilla’s regenerative abilities aren’t as insane as 682’s. Also 682 doesn’t have a radioactive breath attack.
