So a bit of background story of me

I started animating because I had this unexplainable thrill and urge to animate those epic, face paced sword fights yadada that stick figures usually did

I always loved watching them, so my hobby as an animator came to.

Anyway, there’s a whole village in Grodot dedicated to the best fighters on the planet. And they all were scarfs and wield incredibly powerful swords

Maybe not cuz this is Twitter, I can’t have love and opinions on scarf figs so….yeah

    • No one on Grodot has been able to explain their odd, simple, stick-like appearance

    • Scarf figs are acceptable every now and then as long as they’re:
      – well-made
      – have a fleshed-out backstory as well as balanced abilities
      – come from a respected user who isn’t bullshitty
      – don’t make zero sense
      – aren’t just copies of other cookie-cutter templates (i.e., “my nam is flame Uchia and I have a superpower katana also I can destry univurs one shot and electric power als I lik pizza”)

Most of the time they’re annoying because they’re overdone and usually just copies of eachother, but if you somehow happen to do it well, bravo.

Indeed nobody knows anything about my OC, except for the fact that I get bored and use him for my crazy parodies but that’s something that happens from time to time.

Jesus, nowadays we base skill on personality, that’s disgraceful

Let me explain. If I’m being frank, the figure you posted is low-effort and only a fraction of your actual fig-making skill. Saying someone is a respected user who isn’t bull is referring to the fact that we know you can make good figures and we know you can make good stories. If “chickenlover69lol” popped up one day with “flame Uchia and I have a superpower katana also I can destry univurs one shot and electric power als I lik pizza”, they wouldn’t be taken seriously. If you can show that you have good skill, you can be taken seriously even when you make figures that aren’t super detailed or the most unique style.

I guess your right, but what I said still stands

At least you don’t seem to follow that belief lol
