Beginning of a StoryJust a small question, given that while the figures themselves aren’t done, a story is being developed smoothly. When writing the lines and basic actions of the characters for an episode, for those of you who have done so, is there a way to estimate the length of it when it gets to animating it, or do I just need to wing it until I get it right?

The story doesn’t determine the length of the animation, YOU decide how much screen time is necessary
If it’s an emotional story where the dialogue really matters, it better take up half of the goddamn animation
If it’s action, just 5 minutes of dialogue or less lol
Also, not related but sometimes it is better to write a story with more showing than telling, Halo 2 did this very well
Instead of Cortana telling you that the covenant is a very advanced civilization with a fanatical devotion to a false religion in the middle of a goddamn mission, BOOM ! you SEE this instead :

…listen mate not to get mad but there’s a good reason I want a certain time for each episode, thanks for the advice but I don’t find it useful
it’s also rather conflicting, especially the
