    Grodot Enemies, II

Machinists, elusive engineers eagerly awaiting Grodot’s apocalypse, focus on making intricate contraptions and hellish prosthetics, replacing eyes, arms, jaws, and organs with metal counterparts. These chaotic Grodotnites were outcast because of their believes and tendency to mutilate animals and other Grodotnites, claiming to bring them “salvation”. Most live in deserts, with some mountains as well. Their head machinist, Phoenix the Splicer, is responsible for creating a few things that heavily aid them. First, an augmented method of Arc wielding that requires grinding down telekinetic crystals (Yellow) and a process of mixing it with other materials and heating/cooling it all to create a yellow energy that has no definite form. It is what is in most Machinists’ gauntlets, allowing them to bend animals to their will. It is also in Fanatics, another invention of Phoenix. These are a high-adrenaline type of Machinist soldier who’s hearts are replaced with an Arc core. Since only one crystal can be owned by someone throughout their lifetime, it is unknown how they get so many Crystal Type Ts to make their Arc, but some speculate it is some godlike entity or relic, which is also the reason they await the end of the world with such glee.

Fanatics are driven by a never ending sense of energy and adrenaline, as well as ambition to climb the ranks from rock bottom. Most Fanatics are either poor, criminals, or some disgrace to the Machinists. They are given pickaxes, some of which can shoot using chain, and a dual-barreled pistol. The ambition and shame of such a low rank causes suicidal aggression, charging into battle with no strategy or thinking.

    • Do people actually read these

I’m just curious, the main reason I write these is to document lore so I remember it well (and to rant lol) but I wonder if anyone has the patience to sit through and read this
