The Wyvern

Holy shit, this was a massive “trust the process” moment, it looked terrible right up until it was finished.

Anyway, after making Max’s gauntlets have the ability to summon his firearms, I realized he had a severe lack of said firearms. At the moment, all he has is the Minotaur and the Bow (Luna’s Whisper). After this gun, I plan to bring back his old shotgun/grenade launcher hybrid and maybe give him a crossbow.

This auto rifle is going to be Max’s go-to gun, just like the Herald of War (and sometimes the pencil) will be his go-to melee weapons. On top of a 30-round mag and a burst/auto mode switch, the Wyvern comes with—you guessed it—big fucking thrusters slapped onto the sides. This allows Max to throw the gun up and let it fire autonomously while keeping it’s position in the air, like a little turret drone. Basically, I wanted a weapon that would make combos and nonsensical badassery easier to animate. I refuse to give Max a normal weapon.
