Yes, if the IT-1 project went ahead it would be interesting.

Honestly, in the animation I plan to make it won’t just focus on the fight between the T-72 and M-1 Abrams, maybe I’ll make an alternate story between the US and Iraq.
The rebel forces used some tanks like the BMP-1 and 2, T-62 and IT-1 (even though the latter has had almost no success)
Since the IT-1 uses the T-62 chassis, I can remake the chassis and finally make a new turret for it, based on the T-55. It’s a good option. -

I don\’t believe it\’s fully multifunctional.
Following the line of the Second World War, fighter planes could carry bombs and heavy weapons and not be considered multi-role aircraft. The BF-109F2 or F4 could carry bombs from 250LB to 500LB, plus 8 light unguided rockets. Even more so with the F4 version that could carry 20MM cannon pods.
Propeller-driven aircraft had their specific niche even though they could carry anti-tank weapons, etc. due to the limitations of the time. Nowadays you can build a bomber and a fighter all thanks to the design and jet engine, but not in the past. -

I know, but it will take several minutes because the T-72 will have support lol, and like 2 Tiger Vs 50 T-34

I’m in the process of refining this first part of the animation. I’m testing shading and seeing how it looks, here’s a subtle difference.
I don’t know exactly where to start to finish, over time different ways of how I will start this story emerge. Since I’m going to start working in about 5 minutes, I’ll basically take some free time to build a storyboard.
The basics of history, It takes place in Iraq in 2005, in full governmental stability, after the American intervention and the establishment of a new government. Separatist forces supported by Russia and Iran, both indirectly and directly, are trying to oust the government And expel the Americans. Separatist forces attacked a large city near the Assyrian Desert, sending out a scouting force.
The animation will not focus on the story, but rather on the battle between the M-1 Abrams and the T-72.

shadows def always make things look better, gives it more depth
-
Tbf if it was realistic the battle would last like a few seconds considering the 120mm the Abrams uses absolutely annihilates T-72s (especially export ones like the ones Iraq would use)

As a former tank enjoyer, Abrams on a record barely encountered any Iraqi tanks, and if it did, it would absolutely annihilate it.
For the most part, Iraqi’s tanks forces was destroyed before the abrams could make contact, all thanks to the contribution of the US air force.
In fact, if I could recall correctly, Bradley destroyed more tanks than Abrams itself but I don’t have evidence to support this claim.

If I recall, 73 Easting had at least a few T-72M1 kills done by M1A1HC Abrams units
-
Replying to:
That is actually true and was reported, I didn’t claim there was no engagement between an abram and a t72, but I am saying it’s incredibly, incredibly rare.
-
Replying to:
Fair I was just saying 73 Easting had enough of a concentration of Abrams on T-72 engagements to somewhat confidently determine the winner in such a duel
-
Replying to:
Also yeah the Bradley overall got more tank kills just from encountering tanks more frequently if I recall

peak, make a tutorial on how to do that one day.

Tbh the BRDM with ATGMs would probably make more sense than an IT-1 since the IT-1 basically just got abandoned
Yes, if the IT-1 project went ahead it would be interesting.
Would be tbh
Also an IT-1/Object 279 Hybrid would be cool
