True, I usually base mine off real vehicles. My most recent (Work in Progress right now) one is based on the M1A2 Abrams. An older one of mine (Object 462A) is based on the T-80 and Object 490A.
Drawing them first could also be a big help and I’ll certainly try it out.

How do I make the profile picture with a better resolution on the site?

If the image is sharp and has a high resolution that’d be the only way I can think of because keep in mind as a persons profile is so small it would naturally be harder to see and lower quality.
