2025-02-10 01:01:31 UTC I’m in the process of refining this first part of the animation. I’m testing shading and seeing how it looks, here’s a subtle difference.
I don’t know exactly where to start to finish, over time different ways of how I will start this story emerge. Since I’m going to start working in about 5 minutes, I’ll basically take some free time to build a storyboard.
The basics of history, It takes place in Iraq in 2005, in full governmental stability, after the American intervention and the establishment of a new government. Separatist forces supported by Russia and Iran, both indirectly and directly, are trying to oust the government And expel the Americans. Separatist forces attacked a large city near the Assyrian Desert, sending out a scouting force.
The animation will not focus on the story, but rather on the battle between the M-1 Abrams and the T-72.

shadows def always make things look better, gives it more depth
Tbf if it was realistic the battle would last like a few seconds considering the 120mm the Abrams uses absolutely annihilates T-72s (especially export ones like the ones Iraq would use)
I know, but it will take several minutes because the T-72 will have support lol, and like 2 Tiger Vs 50 T-34
As a former tank enjoyer, Abrams on a record barely encountered any Iraqi tanks, and if it did, it would absolutely annihilate it.
For the most part, Iraqi’s tanks forces was destroyed before the abrams could make contact, all thanks to the contribution of the US air force.
In fact, if I could recall correctly, Bradley destroyed more tanks than Abrams itself but I don’t have evidence to support this claim.
If I recall, 73 Easting had at least a few T-72M1 kills done by M1A1HC Abrams units
That is actually true and was reported, I didn’t claim there was no engagement between an abram and a t72, but I am saying it’s incredibly, incredibly rare.
Fair I was just saying 73 Easting had enough of a concentration of Abrams on T-72 engagements to somewhat confidently determine the winner in such a duel
Also yeah the Bradley overall got more tank kills just from encountering tanks more frequently if I recall
