look, i get it, and every UI change the happens, it happens for a reason – and a lot of suggested ones don’t because this exact reason because they don’t outweigh the cons of ruining muscle memory and shit
but the ones that do get by do so because, shit is just wack and needs to be improved in terms of usability/placement with other like UI elements/etc
so yeah, either dumb UI shit stays dumb
or we all gotta just deal with re-learning a few new locations for the sake of improved UI

my only complaint is the “test smart stretch” button there is geniuenly no reason for it to be there
i agree its mad annoying
that tbh i can see being a toggleable option
people who make complex things w/ smart stretch, its invaluable and shouldn’t be buried in a sub menu as its frequently turned on/off to test minor adjustments
i will probably make that an option in 4.2.1 to have it there or not
