that’s way too simplistic, especially on the appearance part which is most important.

so you said he used wind elements and had a robotic arm, well how about we make him entirely mechanical and basically he relies on wind energy to keep going. his second form could kinda lock him down, allowing his to recharge but stay mobile on some tank-tracks while his main form is more humanoid and is designed for interacting with the world.

he could basically be a sort of scouting robot, designed for analysing unknown planets and stuff but lost connection to his maker(s) and now simply wanders aimlessly, curiously searching the world for information as it is the only programming it is bound to. the arm blaster could be more of a machine used for multiple things like clearing debris, lifting super-heavy objects and for magnetically sucking objects towards it. however, from some modifications, it also can be used as a laser rifle for deffence against whatever nasty creatures may reside on the planet.

i could imagine it having an appearance similar to a cross between EVE from ‘Wall-E’ and a Super Battle Droid from Star Wars.
