The thing he’s doing is a swear in England. It originated from way back in the middle ages. Basically The English and the French didn’t like eachother much and the English had the best archers. So, the Frenchmen would cut off the fingers of all the English archers they captured.
The swear originated from the English archers waving their two fingers at them in a way of saying ‘come get mine!’
Why did they never teach me this in History, it’s such a cool story.
