Idk I haven’t paid much attention so please don’t take this as rude criticism. I’ve seen a bit of talk about new rules regarding the log so far from what I’ve seen it’s made things much shorter.
More linked posts because how else can we really get a summary of the site if we exclude much of the site’s going-ons? I actually liked scrolling through the long ass posts because it makes me wonder what new thing I’ll see, if I’m in the log, and it makes it feel like the site is lively.
Less or no self promotion on the site log of all things. It’s meant to summarize the day that we all contributed to. Even if I wrote a log I wouldn’t want it to frame PROMISE ME at the top or to be promoted because why should it? Why would it be more show worthy than anyone else’s content?
I feel like he added that ‘cause if we do our grand logs some might feel too scared to log
But tbh yeah its weird
I think the rule was added to get more people to log
But I’m gonna be honest it does make the logs feel dry
It’s just for this month, no worries. When August comes, logs will resume how they used to, with a regular schedule and full links. Hopefully this month’s experimentation will bring new members on board as well, so we can more steadily keep the group chugging along

Like what Warlock has mentioned, this is just temporary, the SL will resume as normal soon enough. For the time being, we’re letting others try their hand at making their own style of entries.

A few, would be nice to have more since it’s free publicity for content people have already posted, but it seems people get confused with it sometimes.
This is just a quick effortless post. Nothing else.
Quick? Yeah, effortless? No, it’s not.
You can try and simplify what’s being done and belittle it, but these quick posts allow people to promote their work further, given they want to.
Plus, this is just for July, once August comes, we’ll go back to the normal schedule.
