^^ Basically my stance too, as a fellow Christian, Same-sex relationships are a sin in the Bible though it isn’t our place to envoke judgement and cruelty upon somebody on that basis. That judgement is ultimately to God, and though it may be against the word of the Bible it does not mean harassment and ridicule is okay.
To peacefully respect people for what they do, what they are, what they believe in, who they love, is the true way of a Christian. Though I do am not Catholic and necessarily listen to the Pope, being on a Protestant denomination, I respect that he advocates against these blatant hate crimes that paint a bad image of Christians.
