He ejected and since the planes are moving along forwards in the sky, once he is no longer in the plane, it continues onward while he is left behind. Camera movement followed the pilot not the plane.
Atleast that’s my take on the interpretation of the animation

You really notice every detail, the synchronization of each scene, shot, movement is excellent, the sound effects are the same, the fluid movement of the figures and the blood, if you did a spin off of White it would be great and I bet your work would be well accredited.
