They use an editor, even something like iMovie.
Just export your animation in mp4 or gif, import to editor, and then add music with editor -

Hey it’s his opinion, some people prefer smooth animation while others like choppy animation. Both can look good, it’s just based on your personal preference.

Cool animation, very solid for a beginner. There is some things you can improve though to make it even better.
1. The first guy dying is very good, the gunshot trail is pushed behind the stickfigure making it seem that it is going through him. The blood splatter and wound at the point of bullet entry is also a very nice touch.
One thing I noticed though is that this does not carry over to the second stickfigure. Instead his body is given a red gradient and the gunshot trails are pushed forward, making it seem like the bullets are passing him instead of going through him. Touch it up a bit and perhaps add a movie clip of blood splatter like you did the other and it’ll be amazing.
2. Always add a floor to your animations, even if it’s just a black line. It gives reference to both the viewer and yourself where the stickfigures are in their relative space and makes it so they aren’t just in white void.
3. The final bullet should come from up higher and angle down toward the stick’s head, not just travel across the screen horizontally. The source of gunfire would have to aim down towards the stick, but it looks like it’s at the same level as the stickfigure, like he laid down just to shoot him.
TL;DR : Good animation. Push back gunshot trails, make blood consistent. Add a floor, and fix the angle the final bullet is coming from.
Hope this helps

Stopmotion 01: Not my first stopmotion by a long shot, but the first one in awhile. Rushed, mostly just unrusting and getting back into the process.
Time to create: 6 hours over 2 days.
Frames: 1367Sorry for the bad camera angles, the only device I have to film stopmotion is a giant iPad with a keyboard, no tripod.
Hope you enjoy!

Very simple yet so cool
I think someone can recreate this from scratch
Either way, I rate this animation about 6+4/10
There’s something very charming about stop motions
Also good job 👍
