[MIDF, After Action Report- 61]

The MIDF are ill-equipped when it comes to their armored arsenal. Manpower, automatic weaponry, all provided by their inexhaustible supply of conscripts and ammunition reserves. However, the military has deemed it unfit to provide the MIDF with dedicated armored divisions and military vehicles outside of trucks and small APC’s. That said, the few armored tanks the MIDF do have are extremely valuable.

Near sun-down at 1800 hours, one of the few MIDF armored tanks was returning to base after an afternoon patrol. Due to current operations elsewhere in the city interior, the lone tank along the outskirts of the town was neglected of an infantry detachment, relying on itself for its protection.

About 3 miles out of base, the tank was swarmed over by a horde of TW-30 infecteds, closing the distance to the armored behemoth before it’s crew could utilize it’s main armament. The crew, at the sight of this predicament, attempted to bail out, only to be washed over by a wave of bloodthirsty infecteds. All members of the crew were reported KIA after an observation helicopter the next day identified the crew and the wreckage of the tank.
