It is beyond me why people animate at 24 frames per second.
The most used refresh rate for monitors is 60hz (60fps), and 24 cant go into 60 an even number of times. So you end up with this jitteriness with movement that cant be fixed.(I know 24 does go into 144fps and 240fps evenly, but 20fps seems like the better option here regardless)
Not only that, but 24 is such a hard number to do math with.
20 is so much better because its a multiple of 10.

I agree
Thats why i use 20
I use 14-18fps. 14 for normal stuff, 18 for faster-paced fights or runs.
a simple google search can literally solve this in 10 seconds

..but 20 is still natural ;/
I should switch to 34fps though
Want to know why? Just search up “animation rule 34”
Ok
Update: Fuck…
is believed
My guy. It’s the industry standard because a majority of the industry believes it to be the lowest possible framerate to achieve natural appearing motion
watch your tone
i am sensitive
i will cry
A simple google search could probably solve the majority of problems people have online if they ever bothered
20 is best fps
forgot to mention that 24 also goes into 360
but since 20 can go into 60, its an auto win in my book
Oh and to clarify, I dont just do 20fps, I actually have a mix of frames per second for different things going on
cuz its industry standard, it looks pretty good too
On the very rare occasion I do animation I use 10 fps, maybe that’s why I suck at animating?
I use ten because ahahbabvsvsavvag
