When a node is marked as stretchy, isn’t it only supposed to stretch that one node and not it’s children?

The whole point of smart stretch is to stretch a node’s static children with it.

The whole limb stretches when you check the smart stretch box

that segment is marked as stretchy *and* smart stretch

smart stretch will stretch the children nodes with it, but if not built “properly” it will produce undesired results like this

just uncheck the “Smart stretch” box for that node, when in creation mode
