You can’t really talk to him through it, it just notifies him that you mentioned him. People usually @ him in case an emergency or you just have an idea you want to suggest.

before you “send” the email, everything you wrote should be right there in the email
author, category, attachment, and the description
if you’re about to press “send” and the email is like, blank, then yeah something borked
i see you’re talking about your Zombs fig
that email had no subject or anything, it was completely blank
so idk what happened but you’re likely using a big dumb email app I can only imagine, as this is an extremely rare occurence
