@ralph, I was just lookng through some of the first figures on the site, and I see that a lot of them are just black. Was color even a thing in the very (very) beginning?

if you look through some of the oldest figures on the site, most of them are just black. No other color. I was just curious if there was color when the site was created. (but of course, if I had to guess, I’d say there was.)

its just, when SN was new everything was based on Pivot standards
Pivot had a very simplistic and crude style most of the time, mainly based on being pretty primitive with its tools (it’s since gotten more robust)
so as a result, when people made “a gun” they would make:
(yes this has color, but you know, it’s still very simple)
a few years later the paradigm began changing and now we got:
yeah, that makes sense.
