Digged a bit more and I found out that none of my smart stretch shields work at all anymore
About that glitch, I’m not sure it’s the animation mode’s behaviour being weird, because do not smart stretch on a parrent node isn’t supposed to affect the children, just the nodes on wich it’s active, simply because it always did just that

its an easy fix regardless so just hold up til 4.1.3 and sorry

Joke asside, if ‘do not smart stretch’ take effect on the entire branche, then it’ll affect qome of figs on the websites, like make some 3D objects unusable, and overall decrease the possibilities of smart stretch
thats what you get for trying to do 3D
also send me that file please i’d need to see it and test whats wrong

aight so a quick look there is a bug, but im not sure which one is wrong – creation mode or animation mode
you have an ancestor node of the trapezoid set to “do not smart stretch” (and im suspecting with ancestors of the other affected nodes)
this of course ends the smart stretching and as a result, animation mode is behaving correctly, but creation mode isn’t
you probably just wanna uncheck that “do not smart stretch” you have on a few nodes
easy quick way is to do Modify Branch
