You know, I always imagined that the site could use a bot that notifies a user if their submission have been declined, and make this feature only and I mean only exclusive to people who have an account on the site.
Tho; I do know there are issues with an idea like this, like what if 4 people submitted 3 submission at the same time, wouldn’t that confuse the bot? second, I doubt the bot itself handles the submision requests and it could be just Ralph himself who have to write X submission has been declined.
And last point, it could be more tiring and one of the scenarios of “High cost for low reward” type of stuff. But it’s still cool to imagine, hence why I said imagine.

There is no artificial intelligence on the site, the creator himself takes care of everything and chooses the characters that are sent.
in a perfect world yeah that probably would be helpful, but thing is the approval process is manual, there’s hundreds of submissions and it’s just a visual inspection after mass-downloading them whether they go in the approved folder or not
backtracking and finding the source email of all the ones that didn’t make the cut, most of which are just nonsense, some of which are actual submissions but just “not good”, would be so time consuming
generally, if the submission doesn’t pop up in a week, it’s not approved
