They’re the worst when you feel ill
honestly i don’t remember the last time i had a nightmare
idk, i guess it’s more of like a stupid unsettling thing happens in a dream and it jolts me awake, that maybe has happened a couple times in the past year but, i don’t know if that’s a “nightmare”

Umm, I suppose it would be because if you’re unsettled then it’s probably in fear.
I’ve had those before, well that tends to be the premise for my nightmares, I can usually stay pretty calm and thorough with understanding scary things but some nightmares just make me feel scared and uneasy for stupid reason.
I had a dream last night about a Christmas festival and for some reason I woke up feeling uneasy.
Dreams IMO are based off of things you pay little attention to in the day / things you feel emotionally quite strongly. If you can come to terms with what happened the day before and understand that, dreams and nightmares tend to drift away. Not the uneasy ones though.

They’re the worst when you feel ill, makes it feel even more real.

Excuse the essay.
