When I say “flopping ragdolls”, I mean the ones that you commonly see in Gmod or as a bug in some games.
Is it possible to recreate this kind of madness in a 2d animation, let alone Stick Nodes?
Replying to:Ralph (Developer)i think what you're asking for is for stick nodes to, like,
Not that I’m asking you to do it, but is it “visually” achieveable with animation?
Like, purely with the app as is, right now, is it possible to achieve “flopping ragdolls” purely through animation?
why wouldn’t it be possible?
it’s actually pretty fun trying to do so. Being flung hard and then tumbling down the floor etc.
Then mix in ragdoll AND movement together to create interesting sense of realism
i do that alot
Good luck for that
do you, not know how to do that?
Uhh, no?

Stretch tool
i think what you’re asking for is for stick nodes to, like, do it for you – like a phsycis engine
which its not lol, it’s basically a glorified drawing/art app, kinda
but, having a drag/ragdoll on stickfigures while dragging them around is something i want to mess with as a toggleable feature bc its neat
but it won’t be like you just “turn on” gravity and all the figures act like solids with full-ass physics
