I moved to software primarily used on desktops because I wanted to try using this Non-Display Tablet I bought recently. I was originally gonna stay with ibis paint because it’s an app I used on my mobile device but when I tried looking it up on my laptop, shit costed $25 bucks just to use the app unlimitedly. Though I was given the demo option for free but I only had 1 hour of drawing session PER DAY. That’s capitalism bullshit for you.

By the grace of god there were also alternatives that was recommended to me. The first one being krita. First time using it and immediately got a brain seizure from the amount of doohickeys and complicated UI. Then I found out about medibang— it’s more intuitive than krita but less advanced than ibis paint (it doesn’t have a lasso tool nor a liquify tool 💔) so far it’s a great software to use for drawing. I just wished some tools had better quality in terms of functions. The bucket fill tool was so ass at gap recognition I have to outline everything. I can’t even leave 1 gap of pixel. Theres no liquify tool or a special pen similar to ibis which is bummer because those tools literally compensate for my booty drawing skills.
