I enjoy the game, I enjoy some of the more original concepts of the mods, though I don’t enjoy some of the fanbase. I also dislike how it’s been treated, it got the squid game/among us/bendy/cartoon cat treatment, where now it’s “cool” to hate it. The fanbase turned it’s own game to something trash by making it so mainstream that it’s mainstream to hate it. I personally like some of the creative elements, like I enjoy this song:
But the game killed itself, with half the fanbase not even knowing what half of the clout-chasing mods out every week are originally from, and the game has just become a faded gem trying to get out under the amalgmamation of the dead fans. It’s not a bad game in theory, it’s just been forced into one.
If you were to see a youtube video like “FNF MINECRAFT RUN FROM INK MACHINE!!!! 3 AM!!!!” You would associate that with the game, because of something someone in the fanbase did. But people can’t seems to see that a game can’t choose it’s clout. Don’t hate the game, hate the player. Friday night funkin is not a particularly bad game. It’s just A game. The fanbase is what people associate with it, they think the fanbase IS friday night funkin, not the original game.
The game was made into what it is today because of how it was treated.

I personally like the game and the modding community, but not the Fandom or fnf community in general
