@Ralph I have a couple of suggestions for the app that I thought of just now.
The first (the one that’s the least likely to be used) is a “Combine Figures” button. Basically, it would act like the “join figure” button combined with the stickfigure editor. First, you would choose 2 figs to combine from the library of stickfigures in the “add stickfigure” list, and select which one is the “Parent” figure. Next, you’d select the “main node” of the “Child” figure, and select a node of the “Parent” figure to join the “Child” figure to. The “Child” figure would be joined by the “main node”. The join button won’t become useless though, as these figures wouldn’t be unjoinable without creating other separate figs that match the 2 combined figs and uncheck “tween stickfigure” on the combined figure.
The second is like a “Minor Animation” option. Basically, it would be like making a new animation where you create up to 5 figures to be in it, animate them in a looping animation, and save it. Then, you could open a new project, and there could be like an “Import minor animation” and “Add minor animation” for adding them into scenes. You could move it by a main node in the middle of the minor animation, and you could set the speed of it. Other then that, the minor animation could be modified just like a normal figure apart from A) not being able to modify colours and B) not having nodes other then the main node. This would save a bit of time
Just a couple of suggestions, but please don’t yell at me if they’re stupid suggestions.

@tastylemon16 – See? I told you. People keep asking for the same idea, just in slightly different ways, a few times a week lmao:

sorry, I had to mention tastylemon as I just finished answering this with him (and prior to him, countless other people)
I really should make an FAQ section because apparently this is a thing now
anyway, finna just copy paste what I told him regarding that request:
as for the costumes thing, I didn’t go in depth because like I said, it’s asked (in a different way lmao) once a week, and I respond that what you’re asking for is “MovieClip” functionality (from Flash)
it’s a very useful animation tool, a movie in a movie, a submovie
and I’ve hinted that I intend to bring it to SN eventually
it’s a huge task, it’s not as easy as you think to add things like that, complex gradients, etc it’s not like I just sit down and press a few buttons
lots of thinking and figuring out stuff
I totally respect what you are saying therefore I will stop asking you. 😀👍 Respect ✊
And also I am goin to make a group where people can post there update ideas this way hopefully you dont get bombarded with, ‘RALPH DO THIS, NO DO THAT, NOW THIS!’ 😂 and maybe you could visit it time to time that way people will know youre listening but you dont have to read everyones update ideas because its hastle, I am about to make it now…
@ralph , I will notify you when its made…
So you intend to bring it to stick nodes eventually. Cool! I sometimes do a little bit of programming (on scratch) and I can never get complex things to work, so I know a bit how you feel. I 100% respect the fact that it’s going to be a big task for you. Take your time (but please don’t take too long, 7 months between 2 updates is a bit much).
as for the first request, that just sounds like joining but not with the main node only…lmao
there’s a reason that joining is the way it is, your idea was my original plan, before I realized just how much of a hassle/impossible that would be due to the structure of stickfigure node hierarchy I can’t really explain here well, but trust me, I tried
oh. so you’ve already tried? ok. I suppose because you’re a programmer getting things to work is a stupidly annoying task to do.
