I just thought up a way to add multiplayer for animations that would protect the players helping with the animation from the trolls. There’s 2 ways I can think of. The first way would be, basically, there would be a “Host” of the room, and that “Host” can open the room to other players or keep it private. If a player joins the room, the host can customise their permissions (there would be a “player permissions” tab only available for the host, and it would be full of checkboxes for things like “can delete frames” “can delete stickfigures (would automatically disable their ability to clear the frame in frame tools)” “can move stickfigures” “can create stickfigures” etc etc, and the host would be able to disable and enable permissions to prevent trolls from destroying projects.
Meanwhile, way 2 would prevent you from having to go through all that complicated permissions stuff altogether. Way 2 is to simply make it so that each player has their own username and the host can choose to invite players to help them animate. This way, trolls can’t even get in, nobody that the host doesn’t want to get in, won’t get in. Just a couple of suggestions. Maybe they could both be combined. *waits 25 minutes for 1,896 frames of a project to export to a gif* “File size too large? no way!” *take 2* “filesize too large” *lets out an annoyed sigh* I’ll just make a much simpler demonstration gif.

Me
…and pretty much everyone except me. You win.
Is not good idea. Imagine the lag. Also I do not think other animators want to be connected with others in the same anim because one of the animatots is a lot better than the other that just not animate like that.
good point.
this is just a bad idea in general
multiple people should never work on the same animation at the same time
just basic logic
Hey, I’m not the first one that suggested multiplayer mode. Anyway, are you calling my stupid by saying “just basic logic”? Because it feel like you are. “just basic logic” “basic logic”. yeah that sounds like an insult of some sort to me. Correct me if I’m wrong though

lol @ solving issues for something that doesn’t even exist
but I see what you be saying, actually a good idea too, or any serious actions need to be okay’d by the hose etc
Thanks for saying it’s a good idea, I’m excited to see if it actually gets added, although it would most likely be stupidly time consuming. I won’t be upset or surprised if it doesn’t get added though, so no pressure.
