It has been 2 days now, my fathers body has been found in the lake shriveled up, my aunt just now called me and I received the news he didn’t survive the accident on my birthday on the boat.

What happened?
We went on a boat with 2 slides on it and when we were in the dead end of the lake we all jumped in but my little brothers top buckle on his life vest unbuckled and he began to sink my father jumped into to save him and the current dragged him underwater and we wasn’t able to save him his body was found an hour ago, it took the police 12 minutes to arrive so even if he did survive he would be practically braindead
is this like an actual thing or just for like
