You can like whatever you want man , and it’s very good that you have an interest that you deeply seem to love. No one here is against that (though sometimes there’s weird shit people are into , but that’s definitely not the case here)
You just have to be far more open minded.
A lot of us here are , just “‘mean” as a joke (aside from Scarlett , try not to get on her bad side going forward)
Using myself as an example , I may say stuff like “Die” or “Gey” , and while yes that’s by all means rude , a lot of what I say , and what others say here , are for jokes

When you first join this site , it’s like moving into a new school
No one knows you and no one , really respects you outside of the bare minimum.
You don’t get to make rules and do whatever you want , if you want to have a good relationship with kids in a new school , or in this case , users in a site you’ve just joined into , you need to fit in first
Not everyone may like you but you’ll find people , a lot of us here even with our jokester nature aside , will accept you
Users like TastyLemon16 , Kingston , MannyAnims , etc , are just a few of the users that I know here. Users I know wouldn’t mind interacting with you and such
