I’m glad they caught him. But I think a lot of people underestimate how this could impact a lot of people. Now everyone COULD, emphasis on could, shoot anyone they don’t like, left or right, republican or democrat. There should be more gun control in my opinion.
We have a lot of mentally unstable people who have access to guns.

Kirk’s last words were pushing for unnecessary violence towards groups not even involved in his death and yet people were already treating trans folk like me , brown folk like me , like the suspects , like we’re the dangerous ones
Kirk spoke fully against gun control to the point of , potentially if he and many others didn’t push all this extremely loose gun control ideas , he might still be alive today as sad as that is

The shooter’s family was right wing , he had easy access to guns , they were all avid hunters , and this isn’t me even blaming the family but we need better gun culture before we start targeting groups of people
This shooter renounced his humanity when he took a life but even for him there was a world where with the right help he could’ve gotten , mentally and socially , and if this country didn’t warp his mind to the extreme end he went down in , he could’ve avoided ever becoming a killer
If his family had better gun safety and were more aware of his mental state , he most likely wouldn’t have taken a life
