Think of it this way;
There are only ten people in one room, the game production value is 10$. Let’s say 7 of them will only buy the game, the company earns 60$. No one wants to buy the game anymore, they won’t earn enough to run the servers. Which leads us to in-app purchases. And this is why games update, to add more content to keep people playing to buy stuff. Ever seen a offline rpg game update? No right? Unless it’s just bug fix, but bugs are found in beta testing. -

They need to make steady income to give for the employees. While i find loot box annoying, since it’s random, it’s a lot better than overpriced 1 time deals. Look at Clash Royale, this game is successful. Yet the way to get cards is by boxes, you never know what you’re gonna get, which is pretty exciting.
You mentioned Halo and CoD, they are AAA games, they took a lot of budget to make, that budget goes into the employees to run the servers.

You could do this easily by adding tweened frame, and slightly tweaking it. Or, just turn on tweening.
