Commissars log
“Something big is coming… something that we are not prepared for. I tried to warn them, they obviously didn’t listen. They don’t care. They are too busy with the war down south. We have bigger problems than fighting with each other. I am still to find a weapon suitable for the more powerful flesh creatures. I fear that this may be the end of the military encampment.”

Commissar’s log
“This is day 9 already. The spire keeps on growing. I’m trying to organise a mission to explore the ‘hellhole’ as they call it. Those damned higher ups think it’s a bad idea. That we don’t know what’s there. But that’s what we need to know. We need to understand the flesh, before it understands us.
we have a cartographer that creates military maps of enemy areas. He has already finished a world map of how much the flesh has taken. It’s spread so fast already. We need to stop it in its tracks. I am attempting to find a new weapon that’s more effective.”

flesh tundra
This is a desolate, unpopulated, dim biome. Usually found in areas that were already extremely snowy before being infected. An ash like substance fills the air. Any contact with this area without the proper equipment will result in death. The flesh seems to be tinted white in this area. Turns out the ‘snow’ is actually extremely small, fleshy parasites. Explore at your own discretion.

Commissar’s log
“ I have gotten word that the crew is back from their mission. As soon as they got in, they split up. Foolish. Two of them would go and find the children and the other group was to get the intel and search for the source of the spire.
They acquired the intel and found out that, at the base of the spire, was a ginormous hole. They nicknamed it the hellhole.
When they finished, they searched for the other group. One of them was shaking in a corner. Blood splattered up the wall of the room.
Once they left the building, the person who was shaking would not explain what happened. Once they calmed down, they said that their group found one of the children. They were trying to inform us but comms were down. Once they turned around, they watched both the child and their squad mate get squished to a pulp by a large fleshy being.”

Commissar’s log
“One day after the incident, a radius of 3 miles surrounding the building has been put under lockdown. Thousands of people have been evacuated. Large amounts of military forces are 24/7 surveying the area.
A week after, a red spire-like structure was spotted sprouting out of the top of the building, similar to a termite nest but on a much larger scale. Reasons for this are currently unknown.
Three mischievous children somehow managed to sneak past security. The children have not been seen since. I have given my men severe consequences for this. A team of people have recently been sent in to retrieve important intel in the room where it first started, find the children, and find the cause for the growth spouting out the top of the building.”
