Tl;Dr there aren’t two genders, there are two sexes, and this is an important distinction.

There’s a lot of problems with the idea that your gender identity is tied to your genitals

I’m gonna para-phrase Shaun’s video that I recommend you watch.

If a man loses his genitals he’s still a man. He’ll still dress traditionally masculine and go by male pronouns.

Let’s see another example.

You know the term tomboy? Or butch?
These are given to female who don’t fit the usual girl type. Gender-fluidity is switching between gender roles in society. This isn’t just a human thing too. We all know about male sea horses giving birth, or clownfish switching genders if the situation calls for it, but even mammals like Lions do it. Female Lions have been growing manes to fit the traditional male role of defending the pack from rivals and competition.

And no, I did not make this post because I hate Epitaph or something. I made it because a lot of people seemed to be misinformed looking at the comments of the previous post.
