It depends of what you would like to do exactly. Stretching only helps giving the limb perspective or to get the angle right (2D)
If it\’s for 2D, you will mostly need it for a couple frames where the arm is actually resting or it\’s fixed in a certain angle.
Poses are crucial for this.
