Here i am as promised!
For sprites to be great i have to take command of this update!
*Tackles ralph into void and takes his devices and codeWell Well Well… As a Veteran User of Stick Nodes i want to get every single drop of quality and cool things as possible without destroying my device and other poor ones that suffers from low memory issues.
I already have ton of ideas of how i will use them and minimize struggles in certain aspects that nodes just can’t really fit. Because this feature is a lifesaver.
And…. I GOT NOTHING LETS GOO!!!! (i completely forgot what i was about to wrote yesterday maybe later?)
Instead i gonna rant about what this update is bringing instead and if you think bout something crazy while you read then go ahead and praise me while you are at it have everyone animate my character for no reason at all.
-Sprites are super useful not only for effects but for complicated figures that are not meant to be done in stick nodes and while you take stick nodes to these extremes, you can just draw it outside of the app and import it as a sprite which is very cool not to mention you are saving resources such as the time and RAM!
-Sprites can also be used as a way to mask nodes, as all you would need to do is to export the frames and the figure you want to mask and edit outside the app and delete the parts that are supposed to be masked. Very cool!
-Sprites allows you to abuse VFX that can be done inside and outside the app and what’s even more interesting to animate them outside the app to later import them into the app, so if you make a movieclip you can enhance it outside the app to make it even better or you can use the app to do certain parts of the VFX that would be easier to do than just straight drawing it if you have no stylus or a PC computer.
-Sprites can also be used as Animated Backgrounds with the help of movieclips which is fenomenal.
-Sprites can be used to make quick work of certain aspects of the app such as figure making for VFX that would cause you a considerably waste of time.
-Sprites can be used as a mean to Store Nodes as well. Yeah your Node is now a Node PNG, if you are still going to go crazy on the app and want to extend your node count in the figure making instead of making another figure /bodypart you can just save the node, export it into a png, add it into your project and then tracing over it after you are done you will have your full figure, you can join them together or just export them into a single image again and have a… NODE PNG aka Sprite.
Another use of Sprites is the fact that you can use this as a way of adding custom text, with custom fonts in case you want to add a font that you would like for your animation and the app doesnt have it, in the future the chances that you are to add custom fonts in the app probably happens in another update at some point so this use of sprites will have no relevancy at some point.
-Remember animated backgrounds?
Movieclips were already an excellent tool for this but with sprites is even easier to deal with. Both features have a giga sinergy between them, you can be crazy creative with it.There are cons that could dramatically bring in for future dramas and shit but the community should be fine as long people value their manners and ways.
Not to be mean or anything to these that are thinking the will go unpunished in the future. IM WATCHING EVERYSINGLE ONE OF YOU.
Now i was thinking of a way to spread sprites through the community since i love making sprites and animating them but i will not go with this anymore since i have more pressing matters to attend and i know there will be some users if not plenty that will do a better job than i would actually do at that.
I may be missing stuff but i think this is pretty much of what i wanted to say.
If anything whenever update arrives i just want to see how far some people will take the app and the direction that the animators are going to take. You know most of the animators that i was involved with are barely active or just moved on. All i do now is just watch the new ones and sometimes just be one myself and animate hahahahaha

I literally wrote a huge wall of text on mobile but the browser refresh for no reason when i was about to finish… Kms….
Anyways
No complains so farSuggestions
-option to import gifs for the sprites (ik it hurts a ton and probably will be delayed for another update)
-add ‘multiply’ and ‘add’ filters (for effects and blending purposes) – aanother banger that makes you ponder your life decisions as developerThis one is not because of sprites just because we need an option to blend images/nodes to make high quality effects even if our shit explodes. The only way we can blend and get something like that its lowering the opacity of a node at 0.15/0.20 and spamming the same node over and over for ray lights or bulb light💡
Y know what i mean.
I had way more stuff to say but…. Meh tomorrow i bomb this site with a nuke and prob make u rage quit with my feedback -

This is a breaking point. I’m starting to dive into the world of fullbody so stick figure stuff will be lacking at some point, here’s some sketch i made for my upcoming collab entry.
You can look it out as “”The Run Collab 2″”
Or even better join the discord to actually participate on this collaboration.More information : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_oy1spxOUg
Check it out if you want to join. This is a stick nodes collaboration but i was allowed to do what i want because… hey it’s me heckray.
