Today February 27, the news have finally broke out, that Gene Hackman, was found dead in his residence in New Mexico.
“We can confirm that both Gene Hackman and his wife were found deceased Wednesday afternoon at their residence on Sunset Trail.”
Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza said in a statement.
Hackman was 95 and his wife, a classical pianist, was 63. They were found around 1:45 p.m. in separate rooms of the home, with Hackman in a bedroom off the kitchen and Mendoza in one of the bathrooms. “This is an ongoing investigation, but at this time we do not believe foul play was involved,” the sheriff said, adding that the bodies showed no gunshot or other wounds.
The good this man has done to the world, not only as a marvelous writer, but also as a legendary actor in westerns, and a great person in general.
While he may be gone, he will never be forgotten, as his movies will forever live on.
