If i had to pinpoint the EXACT moment of the downfall, i\’d say The Magnificent Seven (2017) was the last big budget western ever made.
Sure, we\’ve gotten good shows recently such as American Primeval, or Horizon, but other than that? Nothing, nowadays you only see low-budget passion project westerns.
Not saying they\’re bad, far from it. But all im saying is, we\’re not getting Unforgiven any time soon. -

In my opinion, El Topo\’s theme works PERFECT as a prelude to the chaos.
It sounds like a cavalry charge, a light brigade slamming against your ranks.
It\’s heroic, while at the same time it\’s threatening.
It fits with the character of El Topo, because he IS indeed the cavalry brigade, he IS an army, and he IS god.
This is shown when he goes against the general at the start of the film, he\’s an unstopable force that ends an entire regiment of bandits holding a town with nothing but a few throwing knives and a revolver.

My Name Is Nobody\’s main theme is literally THE perfect song to end any movie, like THE perfect song for a guy who\’s done doing some tomfoolery.
I dont know how to describe it, but it kinda sounds like:
The theme that plays while a certain beloved Outlaw in here takes a ferry back to america after traveling all the way to Japan and killing in cold blood all the characters of a beloved anime…
Or something like that, idk.
