Blu Cantrell more like Blu CantMiss

Fun fact: did you know that music is actually just as much of a necessity to life as eating food or wearing clothes, and is also the only addiction that is good for you (besides crack). Music is literally one of the only other things keeping me alive, without it I’d’ve probably gone insane by now. In a world full of such terrible things, music has been one of the greatest things to ever happen.

ANYWAYS, so today I went and bought a couple more CDs (those being “Falling Into You” by Celine Dion, which was really really good, and “So Blu” by Blu Cantrell). Why I chose to talk about Blu’s CD is because this album is actually so awesome. She basically only talks about one subject (her not-so-good love life), but the songs all feel so distinct and it’s really hard to get bored (at least for me). Almost every single song on this album is a banger, there’s bops, there’s ballads, and theres.. bebop??
Genuinely such a fun and a tiny bit depressing set of songs, even if she talks about never being able to find a man who doesnt treat her right, she sings it so smoothly and all of the songs are very catchy. Like some of these are go-to songs if you ever get heartbroken or something.

“Hit em’ up style” is the only song I originally knew from this album but thank god I did cuz otherwise I probably would’ve never found or bought it.
But yeah, if you like RnB or soul music in general i definitely recommend you listen to this album, its really good; here are some of my favorites:
